Weston graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Civil Engineering and has been making his mark in land development since 2021. He grew up on a farm, which gave him a strong work ethic (and probably some interesting stories!). When he’s not working, he’s out fishing or kayaking—pretty much anywhere with water. What makes Samford Group special to Weston is the culture—it's not your typical engineering firm. His favorite core value, “Joyful Problem Solver,” reminds him that work doesn’t have to be stressful; even when tackling tough deadlines, there's always room to have fun and enjoy the process.

Josh is a licensed Professional Engineer in Georgia and a proud graduate of the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!). He’s worked on both residential and commercial development projects, bringing a solid mix of experience and problem-solving skills to the Samford Group team. One summer in college, he spent eight weeks in China and even played on a city league football team while he was there. Outside of work, he’s all about running, hiking, and working out—he even completed his first 50k race in 2024! Josh appreciates Samford Group’s strong culture and mission, especially the core value of being “Humble,” because it’s all about prioritizing people over profits and making a real impact.

Joey graduated from Auburn University and has been deep in the world of project management ever since. He specializes in build-to-rent projects, navigating entitlement and permitting processes, and acting as an owner’s rep during construction. A fun fact? He once took a week-long road trip across the U.S. with two of his best friends—lots of miles, music, and memories! When he's not working, you can find him playing pickleball, working out, or enjoying the great outdoors. What Joey loves most about Samford Group is the team—being surrounded by passionate, driven people makes all the difference. His favorite core value is “Committed” because setting clear expectations and delivering on promises is the key to success in both work and life.

Elijah is finishing his Civil Engineering degree at Auburn University and brings fresh energy to the Samford Group team. Outside of school, he enjoys deep-sea fishing and perfecting his golf swing. He loves the faith-driven atmosphere at Samford Group, where putting God first is a priority. His favorite core value, “Joyful Problem Solvers,” encourages him to tackle challenges with a positive attitude. Whether on land or at sea, he approaches every endeavor with passion, perseverance, and a touch of fun!
